whoo bored again
my blog's been having lots of useless info lately haha
so.
2day...i ate my normal daily nasi lemak and some fish sticks thing. oh and also i tried the school teh peng which was not bad actually.
ladeedah loolooloo
oh i bought this disney's greatest love songs cd which is quite cool cos it had all the classic disney songs.
i love disney :) i really like the songs kiss the girl (little mermaid) and i wun say im in love (hercules) and beauty and the beast (use ur brain a bit). disney's the best lah...it can nvr grow old weih
in da future im still gonna watch disney classics with my kids and when they're at school and i get a day off...im gonna steal all their disney cds and watch it by meself :)
i hope my wife can tahan me in da future haha
wat else....
well im super crazy bout planetshakers now...i cant remember if i told u guys but i went fer this worship session with em
there were like crazy lot of ppl..like 600 over but it was really cool to see all of them worshiping the Lord in song and voice :D
and the cool thing was eventhough planetshakers is a really famous band..they kept saying all glory goes to God and we're here to worship Him and not have a rock concert
AWESOME. but it was sorta a rock concert dedicated to god anyways :P
i really like this song called "beautiful saviour" by planetshakers...go listen to it..even non christians ah jus go listen to it fer the tune at least...it rox my sox cooked in pots with chicken pox.
shoowabedoodab
u noe i wish i can moonwalk properly
i saw like a few vids of Michael Jackson doing his famous dance moves on utube (with my computer teacher :D) and i thought it was really cool
my teacher said that he heard dat michael jackson practices by jus locking himself in a room with the music only and he'll just dance for a few hours without any distractions.. COOL
i guess if u wanna concentrate on something whole heartedly..u gotta block out all the distractions u may encounter...and u really must have passion and love fer it
kinda like quiet time for us christians (which btw is jus spending time with God in silence jus being with Him and talking to Him)...or like footballers who train alone for like crazy long time...or yoga i dunno haha
:D
well i guess i better stop b4 i really talk bout super random stuff
trust me i can be more random :P
peace yall.

i
am
bored.
im supposed to be studying my geo but after super cramming of sejarah yesterday and this morning at 3.00..i'm so taking a break :P (btw it paid off cos i got 80-somethin (mrs chelva marked it on the spot) after many prayers and hopeful and faithful studying :P)
so. puttin studies aside..there's this planetshakers kinda worship thing for teens this sat. btw for u guys who didnt noe, planetshakers' a christian kinda band and they're coming to m'sia. worship in christianity is basically singing songs of praise to God which should come from our heart and sometimes we sing songs of reflection on our lives. its not some ritual where we all hold candles or wtv.
so anyways unfortunately my study skills camp is also on saturday BUT its until 7.00 whereas the thingy planetshakers thing is at 8.00. me and judah's plan (and whoever wants to follow us) is to finish camp at exactly 7, reach damansara at precisely 7.42, break several speed limits and records and reach the place at exactly 8.00 and rock all the way at the back of the church :)
yeah.
oh i hav and obsession with hairbands now because they really helped fer the bronze expedition while hiking and it makes me pretty :) bronze expedition was great despite the fact our tents got flooded due to the extreme rain der :P. in the end we all slept in the hall and sms-ed, cheekoopacked, sasasapompompomed, take 5 minute naps now and then and mentosed at like 3.00 in the morning. we were pretty dang tired the next day some more we had to hike up this mountain where we didnt even get to see the peak cos we had to go up some ladders at the end but all the cheras ppl went 1st so the damansarans couldn't :( we all just took 1001 pics and tried to catch up our sleep der anyways. hiking down was kinda hard, dangerous but fun cos there were a lot of places where it was steep, muddy and dangerous but we were all blessed with safety and we all got to lepak in this tiny man-made kinda river after all of dat :)
you have no idea how great it feels to walk on solid ground after all that hiking. haha
oh and when we were gonna go back, i discovered the beauty and wondernessness of ramly burgers. IT WAS AWESOME.
bronze expedition was fun i guess with some dissapointments lah. but all in all good experience.

1. IM A PROBATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
actually i wasn't chosen at first because there was a limit to probates apparently...so i was left out
then when one of the probates resigned...i was next in line :) when puan farah told me i was kinda in a shock mode so i think she was wondering if i was okay o not. actually i was kinda depressed when puan farah told me...cos i had olede accepted that i was a probate eventhough my frens were...and kinda glad actually but now out of nowhere i was back in da business :)
so okay lar.
2. um i'm attending the tony anthony talk thang this friday...i'm trying to like ask lots of ppl to come fer it...he's really good. if u dun noe about him, google him or read his book la
it's called taming the tiger btw. i'll just give u a short synopsis
tony anthony was this kung fu champion who later got into the bodyguard business where he eventually ended up doing mafia jobs and one day was sent to jail. in jail he was an angry, violent man and was in desperate need of hope in his life. then one day, a stranger christian dude from a distant church came to visit him and kept coming eventhough tony just ignored him most of the time. one day tony really wanted to hit him because that guy (Michael) kept talking about being freed by the Son while tony was still in jail. but Michael said what i kinda said earlier...bout filling up the that hole in ur heart thing...when all you've needed was God..go read my post la. so then after dat, tony was a changed man and went on to sharing God's love with 100's of ppl. :)
3. um tomolo's kinda audrey's bday (not u ka cheh, heh heh) so we're all kinda planning a surprise kinda party fer her...so yeah. if u manage to communicate with her between 2day and tommorow 12.00 and tell her its a surprise thing. DONT DO IT.
oh and audrey, if u see this...just act surprised okay. dun crush our spirits :P
4? i got an electric guitar :) IT SOUNDS AWESOME! and im not like some nooby person trying to act cool and show off. i got it so that i can develop my music potential and rock out loud fer myself and other ppl if they can stand it :)
5...i got a fisherman's frens chewing gum

so...today was valentine's day! i've just found out the true story on how valentine's day came about..
apparently, it was a story of this christian called St. Valentine and was persecuted by the Roman Emperor, Claudius the 3rd (wat kind of farny name is dat?). The emperor was quite impressed how St. Valentine talked to ppl so he thought he would be useful to his empire. He tried to converting St Valentine to Roman paganism (which worships a lot of false, man-made idols n stuff) but Valentine stood strong in faith. he was then sent to jail fer his faith
in jail, before he was executed (4 wat oso i dunno..haiyeh) he miraculously healed his jailer's blind daughter which was believed to be his lover. at the end of the note read "from your Valentine."
so i guess we celebrate it cause of his tragic love relationship wif da girl...and of his steadfast love for The Lord. :)
jesus once said god was love, so today was a day of celebrating Him and the love he implanted in all of us! heh heh
keep spreading the love ppl

yep, it's me again.
haven't been really bloggin much due to exams. actually i'm still currently kinda busy with exams but you know, just taking a break :P
so anyways, i've been noticing a lot of things lately. i was startled to find i was partially oblivious to it, really.
what i've noticed, is dat there A LOT of people who are dissing christians and our beliefs. they're really insulting us and persecuting us.
i've been youtubing a lot lately (i have...several breaks while studying...:P ka cheh and cheh cheh...hope you don't see this.. :D) and i've seen a lot of atheists and antichrists who post up disgusting comments and videos, insulting christianity. so i've been asking myself, WHY? WHAT HAVE WE DONE WRONG?? personally i find christians are being persecuted for NOTHING. well nothing bad that is. strangely enough, we are only insulted when we do good! VART THE SNICKERDOODLES?
like for instance, when someone shares their testimony and life-story, saying how christ has changed their life for the better, they're immediately given strange looks and are sometimes avoided later, or worse, INSULTED! why larrr...we respect your beliefs so respect ours la..
but no matter really, because in da bible, it says blessed are those who are persecuted for your faith..or somethin like dat :P (matthew 5 onwards) and you know why? because great is our reward in heaven. in the end, we were never doing it to please men or make ourselves look like 'super-christians', but it was for God, to honour him, and to show our love for him by standing out from a sinful world for Him. It was always between God and us.
but you know lately, there are so many people who insult christians just because we are 'different' in thinking. thinkings such as 'jesus gives salvation and hope' or 'when you serve others and humble yourselves, then only will you be great' or 'do not conform to the pattern of this world'. personally i find these teachings great and fulfilling because it gives me hope and a reason to live. (not only these btw, i was referring generally to da bible heh heh)
i guess, there's nothing we CAN do except follow God's words. love your enemies. and pray also la, because we get to talk to God that way and He does answers prayers :)
to any christians out there suffering, just remember to trust God and remember his hand is 4ever on your shoulder to help and guide you.
to any other people who are not christians, please respect us for we respect you guys cos we follow jesus' example:he is always calm and peace-loving. so dun persecute us for our faith, we have done nothing wrong.

this is gonna be kind long so bear with me (but you get to know the meaning of life later hawhawhawhaw)
okay. what is the meaning of life.
the question probably asked the most often.
so vart the heck's the answer??
in life rite, we're always trying to fill up say, this hole in your heart. you know for sure, once you fill it, your heart is complete, your life's complete, you live a meaningful life. we go to great extents to finding out what fits that hole. we try out billions of different things.
computer games. studies. good job. friends. football.
we think that if we fill our mind and hearts with these things, we will have a complete heart.
now tell me when has computer games ever given you satisfaction in life? sure, it's fun to play with frens for a couple of hours, but the enthusiasm and happiness dies off.
studies. we try so very very very very very very (phew) very hard to get good results, meet your parents and teacher's expectations, get into a good college. but for what? to get a good job sure, but will it give you satisfaction? will more knowledge of medicine, physics, mathematics ever give you peace and joy in life? if you were the smartest guy in the world, the world is your oyster (i still have no idea what that means), you have trillions megajillions of money in the bank, do you feel happy? maybe, maybe. but you will never feel satisfied with what you have. hey! that TV's better than mine, im not satisfied with mine so i'll work hard to get money to buy it! with money, sure you get what you want but nvr what you need essentially. i'll explain that later.
how bout friends? don't they give you a meaning in life? to have fun with them, to hang out, advice them on boys or girls, eat kentucky fried chicken together...doesn't it all give you a great feeling? yea sure, it's great to have frens you can count on. but if you were abruptly cut from them, won't your life be pointless then?
football. man u dundundun. or wtv hundreds of teams you teenagers like nowadays :D. we love sports. we love watching it. we love playing it. we love that great feeling it gives you. but hey once again, its temporary. after 90 minutes it ends, big hoohah on who won and you go back to sleep feeling okay. next day you're back to normal. you don't feel transformed or changed or think that i could have football forever and my life is complete.
SO VART THE HECK IZZIT YOU SO-MANY-THINGS-TO-TYPE-BLOGGER!!?!?!?
well, we try to fill up that hole with so many things that the world has,
but we always, always fail to notice that the hole in out hearts, is God-shaped.
God gives satisfaction. I know, i have experienced it before.
when your friends fail you and are not there for you then what can you do? trust god and he will definitely be there.
when you get bad results and all your peers, teachers, frens, parents look down at you, what can you do? hey look god is there and he's smiling at you and still loves you no matter how many times you fail.
God fills in the void in our hearts.
In this world, very rarely will you find someone who loves you unconditionally, who forever encourages you, nvr leaves you and who thinks you are great the way you are.
But hey guess wat? God is that Person and so so so much more
But wait if God loves me SO SO SO MUCH, why is there so many bad things happening to me and to the people around me?
why does God still allow people to hurt us and insult us if He loves us so much?
Well, my buddy, you see..God loves us so much that he give us a free will. Let's say a parent loves his/her child so much but keeps the child in a cage so that nothing bad will happen to him/her. Is that not wrong? That's what God thought.
He gave us a free will to do whatever we wanted in this world. And he hopes that you will seek him with your free will. But unfortunately, this free will also means we can do bad things. we call it sin.
Sin always has consequences. When you kill someone, you have to face the consequences that the family will chase you down. When you lie, you have to face the consequences when that person finds out the truth. So therefore, we face suffering not because God allowed it, but because he gave us humans a free will and we abused the trust he gave us and did bad things.
Sometimes, these bad things are done to us personally.
But you know what? Even when a person wrongs you, God is forever there to comfort you. He assures us peace and joy if we just trust Him. Heck, He even brings good things through the bad times you have if you just trust him. yes indeed
Say, a friend betrays you and you feel hopeless and lost, if you trust God he will show you the good side of things and help you get through the bad stuff. You'll soon notice that the friend wasnt a good friend anyway. You soon find that you are stronger in perseverance after the incident. You soon find that there are other people who asked if you were okay and had compassion for you. you soon find that they are much better friends.
Aya, you groan, i don't believe in this stuff tht God is there and blahblahblah anyways.
But even if we were wrong in believing there is a God, we still live a meaningful life with Him in our hearts. We still strive to make Him proud of us by doin good things for everyone and yet God still loves us even when we don't.
Would you rather go through a life thinking that every time you fall, there's no one to help you or a life where you think God is forever there to pick you up when you fall and give you hope?
Even if you think it's false hope to believe in some God that doesn't exist, we still have hope in life and rejoice in every day no matter what happens.
To sum it up (phew kinda tired) the void in our hearts is always empty unless we invite God into it. Christians believe God sent his one and only son as Jesus Christ to die for our bitterness and sins so that we can have hope and have eternal life with Him in heaven. If you invite Jesus to your heart, ask for forgiveness of your sins and do everythin he asks, you will have a meaningful life knowing that God is within you.
THEREFORE, the meaning of life, the purpose of us being here is to have a relationship with God and honour him in wtv we do, which includes helping your frens, loving your family and going that extra mile 4 ppl. It also means we have to follow his Word and tell ppl the good news of eternal life :)
and now i gotta do me homework heh heh

to all those who follow my blog keenly [adrian...:P], sry fer not posting for a few days..was kinda busy
so actually im writing this on sunday based on saturday, so yeah, this is wat happened on sat. woke up for piano class..went for computer class...then came back for lunch. At 4 o'clock i had our first youth fellowship of the year in church. woo super fun :P
after youth, which was about 6 somethin...my dad came and picked me up. today was actually like a house-refurbishing and rearranging day so my mum was really busy arrangin stuff and managing even more stuff. one of the things that was changed was my mum's crystal collection. it was at a large shelf for a few years so she decided to change it. turns out, the screws used weren't strong enough and the top shelf crashed down...breaking a few of her prized collection.
my dad called her on the way home asking how was thangs..my mum said she was waiting for the carpenter to come...between sobs. then i thought dat was kinda weird...but then again my mum had been collecting it fer bout 10 years? yeah.
but why cry over materialistic things? things people make with their hands, and are bought with some flimsy paper we call money...we seem to care about it a lot. but WHY? why mourn over things that changes nothing in you and the people around you? it's not like it was a waste or would bring our whole family down. we just get so hyped over nothing, you noe wat i mean?
bible. word of God. sword against temptation and path in my life. wat it said was 'do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal' (matthew 6:19-20)
what this basically means is that don't try and collect materialistic things where they are easily broken and gone forever. Instead store up treasures in heaven, which doesn't mean like throw gold into the sky and hope it goes to heaven. It means do the will of God and he will reward you in heaven. That is how you store it up there.
we always seem to be attracted to things that 'enhance' our life. TV, computer, playstation, fancy-pantsy clothes and stuff like that. Some even collect weird stuff like coke bottles or stamps just to look at it and say wowee, i collected some man-made stuff. Just so you know, these things don't last forever. One flood BAWM there goes your paper aeroplane collection. (I have no idea whether ppl collect that). So yeah. Concentrate on things that matter. The souls around you, family and friends. The word of God. God himself! All these things last a lifetime.
but hey, u smart alec ask. if a flood comes, won't your bible be gone too? Yeah, but the teachings will live forever in our hearts. (Plus, they're the most sold thangs in the world, it's not hard to get another one :P) So don't waste your life thinking about things that don't matter, concentrating on pointless things. Focus on bringing each other up and living a meaningful life. What is the meaning of life? well, i'm gonna say dat later in another post, cause me mum's comin and if she sees this IM CHICKEN CURRY!
by the way, the bible also says to honour your parents..so im not belittling my mum's thinking, i just thought bout materialism in general. anyways, she realized it's not important anyways and was thankful that the glass had broken, not her head :P
she's still the greatest mum to me :D

hey if you're wondering why i seem to be changing the template of my blog so often, it's becos the template i dwnloaded is kinda weird. i have conducted an experiment on seeing the changes of my blog's template.
PROCEDURE: stare at laptop for a long, long, long time. who needs to do homework anyway pffft.
OBSERVATION: the blog's template suddenly changes to a weird, plain white background between 7 something till i try and fix it for 1 hour, then when i give up, it changes back to normal.
POSSIBLE INFERENCES:
a) the blog doesn't like me.
b) i'm the only one seeing this weird happenings.
c) my blog is so powerfully awesome that the guy from where i dwloaded the template was so jealous that he purposely tried to aggravate me.
hmm.
CONCLUSION: please tell me i'm not the only one seeing this pls...

harlo, it's me again.
now im procastinating to do my bm homework so i have turned to dark side:blogging.
today's sunday, so yeah..i went to church and they usually give these little pamphlets which usually has some anouncements and ppl in duty of stuff and a short article. 2day's 1 was bout starting and facin the new year rite, cos it was da 1st sunday of the year.
so i was readin dat peach coloured pamphlet, then i saw something very challenging to my way of thinking (yes it's dat powderful). what it said was: 'Contentment is not getting what you want, but wanting what you already have'. it really spoke to me.
it seems that we always want things that we don't really need, like dat xbox360, or that cool pair of shoes everyone's wearing now. i want that latest album of james blunt or whatever. we often forget the important things in life that we should be grateful for. as you read this blog on your 1000 over ringgit computer, look around you. your room. or maybe you're in starbucks or something. aren't you glad you're so blessed with so many things you don't really need?
i remember reading me last year's devotion book, bout taking granted so many things god gave us. here's vart da book said:
-if you awoke this morning feeling healthy, you are more blessed than the million people in the world who won't even survive tommorow
-if you've nvr experienced the danger of war, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, you're ahead of500 million people around the world
-if you have food in your refridgerator, clothes on yer back (and your legs too btw), a roof over your head (unless you're outside la), and a place to sleep, you're richer than 75% of the world's population
-if you hav some money in the bank, in your wallet, some coins lying around, you're among the top 8% of the wealthy ppl in the world
if you can read this blog, you're blessed more than over 2 BILLION PEOPLEin da world who can't read at all
even all my fingers and toes can't count that high.
so yeah, you are truly blessed and you should be grateful to God and your family for all these wonderful things you have PLUS all the unnecessary things you have that further enhances your life. use these advantages properly, don't condemn the poorer ppl instead use the money u coulda used to buy that oh so cute earrings or dat so darn cool nike shoes, man; to help someone. or jus give them your time...that's actually better.
since we're all in the gratitudeness mood, i wanna thank elaine fer giving me this cool devotion book last year, da person who found or wrote the article for 2day's pamphlet thang...and to those who spent your time reading this person-who-types-too-much-stuff's blog

yes, it's true.
bout yesterday, i went fer waterpolo training..da first for this year. i'm in the school team so i have to train regularly in order to build my stamina and water polo skills. i found out that there is a very, very, very big and painful cost in not training your stamina and strength for water polo over the holidays.
FIRST. we warmed up with 200m freestyle, that's 8 laps. aya so easy 1...can do with goggles also.
8D - me with goggles. turn yer head to the lefty lil bit.
SECOND. we did 8 x 50m water polo style swimming. every like 10 secs between we get to rest. Not bad also...can tahan...
THIRD. 10 X 25M, each lap we have to complete within 35 seconds. WALAU WEIH. last one, we had to sprint some more...
FOURTH...yes it's not over yet...we hav to tread water while holding the ball up high FER A LONG TIME.
FIFTH. glen, which was da water polo king last time..trained me to be goal keeper, cos im da only guy who can probably do it unfortunately...which resulted in beautiful amounts of pain to my thigh muscles. i had to what they call a 'jump', where you tread water like gila until your body's slightly above the water. i had to do it bout 10 times.THEN i had to be goal keeper while the WHOLE TEAM took turns shooting bout 5 times each.
after training, glen asked me to do 100 squats a day. due to the smartness lvl of my brain, i did one set on dat same day of water polo trainin. and 2day. now my mum's worried i might have a limping problem with my leg.

okay. i have no idea what to write in me blog...guess i'll just write stuff i see and experience in life :D
sigh, today was the first day back to school...it was sorta nice to see everyone again, but also quite depressing to lug our 1 ton-weighing school bags back to school and get back in the studying-mode. this year's a big year too..with da whole PMR examinations at the end which decides whether we're in science stream or commerce. but my english teacher, miss rani said something quite interesting and realistic. she had said that in like 10 years from now when we're workin, trying to make a living, manage our money and family...nobody's actually gonna ask u bout ur PMR results and give u a job or treat u much differently when u said u got straight A's or wtv.
i guess the world emphasizes too much on academic achievement and being a 'perfect' student, they just want to force you to become like them. i read on the news that a girl had actually hanged herself after not getting the results she expected for the UPSR exam. i mean, c'mon nobody really cares about that exam anyway and actually her parents didn't place a lot of pressure on her. i guess she felt stressed when comparing herself to the other students or maybe she was pressured by her teachers and their expectations. she was only 12 for goodness sake! she had her whole life before her and she wasted it by placing too much pressure on herself to achieve what the world wanted.
in the Bible, it had said it romans 12:2: DO NOT CONFORM TO THE PATTERN OF THIS WORLD, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. and that is exactly what we should do. the world always wants us to follow them. i once saw something impactful on 'House', the television series about medical life in a hospital. there was this boy who had a brain problem which caused him to hav no social understanding, which basically means he doesn't know how to interact properly with other individuals. for instance, he wouldn't know if someone was feeling sad or angry...and he couldn't learn things properly. the parents treated him differently because he wasn't normal and not like the other kids.
House, which was the name of the main doctor, had said to another doctor that the world is divided into basically two parts, an inner circle and an outer circle. the inner circe is like the main world, the 'normal' world where they can think properly, speak properly and act properly, apparently very, very proper. the outer circle however, are those who are unique, having disabilities or mental problems and they can't understand the pattern of this mixed up world. so the inner circle is much bigger and tries to force the outer circle into theirs by any means necessary because they think they're too different and too weird. if they fail to do so, they just ignore them or worse, insult them of the way they are.
now in the powerful Word of God again, it had said that everyone is designed uniquely and placed here in this world for a reason. some more unique than others. if you insult that uniqueness, u're directly insulting God because he created all of us. conclusively, we should NOT follow the pattern of this world who wants people to follow their disgusting sinful ways. they're always like, oh lets watch porn or let's go swear 'cause it's cool or when im extremely sad, i think i'll destroy my life with drugs cause it makes me feel good. don't listen to them. be transformed and do not conform to the pattern of this world because most of the time it lets u down and pummel you to the ground.
i feel so cool saying that :D
